Anne Angowitz

Anne is the Founder and a Principal of Preferred Placement Inc. Decades ago she
decided she could build a company that would give better service to both clients and
candidates. She has had the pleasure and privilege to assist many people during a time
of major change in their careers. Anne is a “recovering lawyer” who discovered she
could combine these skills to become a creative and influential networker. She prides
herself on her ability to connect others and to strategize with clients. She evaluates their
needs in a creative way, which is a real value to their process.

Anne has served on numerous boards and is currently on the Board of Directors of
YRF. She was on the Advisory Board of Second Shift, a networking group for working
mothers. She was also on the Board of Temple Beth El in Chappaqua and has sat on
the President’s Club Board of Colgate University. She has been involved in fundraising
for the Babies and Children’s Heart Fund of Columbia Presbyterian Hospital (now
known as the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York.)

In good weather, she loves to cycle on her road bike and is a devotee of Peloton. She
has become an avid knitter and is learning to golf. She is also a proud mother of two
awesome sons.
