Stuart Angowitz

Stuart has been a Principal of Preferred Placement for over two decades. Previously a
practicing attorney, first at a well-respected New York City law firm and then as General
Counsel of a real estate management and investment company, Stuart brings a unique
perspective to the task of recruiting legal and compliance talent. This allows him to
assess client needs and culture, and identify candidates with the right set of skills and
experience. Stuart has advised on searches for all levels of experience. He has
conducted searches in many practice areas and industries across the United States and
internationally, including financial and business services, healthcare, IT, consumer
products and manufacturing, to name a few.

Stuart graduated from SUNY Albany and from Emory University Law School.

Stuart is on the Board of Directors of a charity focusing on education for underprivileged
children and is involved with raising money for the Heart Fund at Columbia
Presbyterian’s Children’s Hospital (now Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New
York.)

Whenever time permits, Stuart, an avid cyclist, can be found riding the roads of
Westchester County, New York (usually with Anne) and, when the weather prohibits,
riding his latest passion, the virtual roads of Zwift.
